Terms and Conditions
The scanner comes with a limited one year factory warranty. This warranty shall begin upon the date of purchase. The limited factory warranty entitles replacement of a defective unit due to manufacturers defect within the warranty period with a replacement unit. Replacement units will operate within full factory performance specifications but may have cosmetic blemishes. The replacement units' warranty will be for the remainder of the original warranty term. Return of defective units must have prior authorization by BCS Solutions. For technical support or request authorization to return defective unit please contact tech support at 714.899.4800. Credit card billing information is required for all return authorizations unless credit application has been processed and approved. Replacement units will be shipped prepaid 2nd Day Air with a UPS Ground prepaid return shipping label for the defective unit to be returned to BCS Solutions for evaluation. Defective units must be properly packaged in the replacement unit's box and in possession of UPS within 14 days of receipt of the replacement unit or the full purchase price of the replacement unit will be charged. Units found to have customer induced damage will be charged the full purchase price of the replacement unit. Defective units returned to BCS Solutions will not be returned to customer. Manufacturer of the unit will be the sole decider of whether a unit has customer induced damage or a manufacturers defect and will provide written determination of findings to customer. This warranty is void if the product is repaired or altered in any way by any persons or agencies other than those authorized by BCS Solutions, and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, written or oral. The liability of BCS Solutions shall not exceed the value of the replacement unit under the referenced limited warranty term, and shall not include consumables (including, but not limited to: cables, holsters, etc.). BCS Solutions shall not be liable for any damages of any sort whatsoever, including incidental and consequential damages. This warranty does not include damage due to freezing conditions, negligence or abuse, installations in corrosive environments or atmospheres, nor acts of God. There are no implied warranties of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose that apply to this product.

UPS 2nd Day is at no change. UPS next day is an additional $10 plus tax on the entire RMA.

Our RMA Process

RMA requests are only processed by phone or online.

Replacement unit will be shipped 2nd Day Air at no additional charge. Customer may elect for Next Day Air shipping at an additional charge of $10.
>
Upon receipt of replacement unit, return defective unit using box and packaging from replacement unit with prepaid UPS ground label included.
>
The warranty on the replacement unit will continue from the original purchase date.

Upon receipt of your defective unit, the manufacturer will determine if the returned unit is customer induced damage or a manufacturers defect.

If customer damage is found, a report will be generated from the manufacturer with description of customer damage and you will be charged $100 for the replacement unit. If manufacturers defect is found, no other action is required and you will keep the replacement unit.
>
No scanners sent in for RMA will be returned to the customer.
